How much Sugar is in those Drinks?
Here we will dissect a few common drinks to see how much sugar they contain…
The AHA (American Heart Association) tell us how much sugar they recommend in a day for both men and women.
As you saw:
- Men 9 teaspoons
- Women 6 teaspoons
And then you look to see how easy it is to go over that limit just by consuming one drink… it’s frightening!
Many people have several of these kind of drinks per day, in fact, many of them drink sweet drinks instead of ‘boring old water’. Oh, but at what price?
Not the price of the drinks, but the enormous price they will pay sometime down the track.
The sad thing is that rather than recognise that one of the reasons was all the drinks they’ve been consuming that’s brought on their troubles, they’ll believe it just happened to them because they were getting older.
Listen, it doesn’t happen that way. Not at all. In most all cases, what happens to us apart from accidents etc., happens because of what we have been using as fuel for our body.
If you’ve been doing this, your body would be having a good talk to you about it right now… but are you listening?
There would be symptoms but do you take any notice of them. Do you simply put it down to the aging process… or something of that nature?
What is your experience?
Have you been listening and trying to do something about it?
Love to hear.
