Achieving your Daily Quota of Fibre

You will see here how easy it is to add more fibre into your diet.  Take a look…

20-Examples-on-how-to-achieve-your-daily-quota

Different organisations say we need differing amounts of fibre per day.  There is one sure way you can tell if your body is receiving all it requires though… are  you going regularly to the bathroom each day, at least once, preferably twice or ultimately three times?

Please spend a little time here and really think about what you eat on a daily basis.

Are you eating 1 cup of leafy greens? They are so important to health and wellness and yet so many people never, ever eat them.  So sad.

Are you still caught up in eating refined white bread?

The doctor once told me when my son was little and suffering from diarrhoea, for him to eat white bread.  He said that it would soon ‘stop the flow’ as it’s so constipating.  As I didn’t give my son white bread normally, he thought it was quite cool!  And I must say… it did the job.

So many people complain of being plugged up and yet they never eat anything else but white bread. Most of the nutrients have been removed along with the fibre… it’s not good.

Basically we are a lazy lot as it’s easier to grab a packet of nutrient deficient biscuits and rip open a dip than to prepare your own at home with a few vegetable pieces.

I rarely, if ever, buy a dip because it’s so hard to find one that isn’t made with vegetable oil or canola oil. When I have a dip I like to use simple and quick ingredients like avocado.

Please share with us about what you do as we can all learn from each other.
